I'm Russ Mesey, Promoter of the EMERALD COAST POWER EXPO. The Expo will feature 6 awesome events, commencing August 28th and running all day. The event coordinators are as follows:

The Expo is only 6 weeks out, we are looking forward to seeing you in Fort Walton Beach on August 28, 2010. This is going to be one of the premiere, fun events of the year!
The Expo is being held at the luxurious Emerald Coast Conference Center on Okaloosa Island. Standing at the front entrance of the Conference Center, you can see Choctawhatchee Bay, and the beautiful Gulf of Mexico (No oil).
The host hotel, Hampton Inn on the beach, is within walking distance to everything you might need; restaurants, nightclubs, beach shops. And, the Hampton Inn is only three minutes from the contest venue!

The EXPO is a 1 room event, you can see everything the EXPO has to offer. Vendors are welcome and will be centrally located amongst all the events. The EXPO occupies 21,000 sf (with approximately 30 foot ceilings) and will be set up similar to the old GNC Show of Strength. Awesome set up. This will be the largest, most elaborate venue athletes can, or have ever competed in!
Sport Model Competition: This event is open to men and women, two categories for each. We'll have an OPEN event for all ages 16 and over. We'll have a MASTERS event ages 35 and over. We are offering cash & prizes to the winners of each category.
PRIZE DOLLARS DEPEND ON NUMBER OF CONTESTANTS
Our goal is to award $1000 in cash & prizes to the first place winner in each category and compensatory money to 2nd and 3rd place. Again, dollar amounts will be dependant on number of contestants. Checkout www.ecpexpo.com for rules and entry information.

APA Power lifting: This is a NATIONAL QUALIFYING event, raw and equipped. John Micha and Bobby Myers are two of the best promoters in the business and put on the best meets in the Southeast. If you're a true power lifter and love the sport, DON'T MISS THIS EVENT!!
AAA Arm Wrestling: Heather Battles coordinates some of the largest Arm Wrestling events you'll ever go to. Professionally done, this tournament (Battle at the Beach) will blow you away with the level of talent and competition on display. If you call yourself an arm wrestler you better be in Fort Walton Beach on August 28th!
NAS Strongman: This is a NATIONAL QUALIFYING event. Experience the largest display of power and strength when the big boys come out to play. Dan Belanger hosts some of the biggest names in the game demonstrating amazing feats of strength in the Atlas Stones and 55 gallon drum carry.
Grappling: Capitao will host the South's largest individual and team grappling tournament of the year. Male and female divisions feature 7 weight classes with medal placement for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. The kids tournament offers 3 weight classes. For some of the most technical, hard fought matches you'll see or participate in, get to this tournament...or pick an easier sport!!
USA Wrestling: Darrin Dunwald will host USA Wrestling at its finest. See the best wrestlers in the Southern states go at it in a pre-season showdown for wrestling supremacy. Preview future state qualifiers before the regular season begins.
